Smile Hi Liz
I remember your thread about your op.
Your operation has zoomed by - 6 weeks already. And a cracked bone - ouch!
You are not hijacking thread - its anyones to join in!

I've not had steriod jab that way, just injected.
I will let rheumy know how things are.
Not liking the way things are at the moment, last nite I was awake all nite. My tummy was going over (nothing happened) and the sharp pain in my knee - I made it into work! Could not wait to come home.
Maybe other people may feel similar or the same. I know its possible to have good days just when things go the other way, I get scared.
Only 3 more sleeps till surgeon and 4 till rheumy.
When I go to rheumy I feel supported and feel safe (I don't mean it in a corny way).

You are so right Liz - having to feel strong enough for the op.

I'm home alone...I think I need to copy my dogs and have some zzz

Thanks Liz, you always sound so possitive. Good to hear you are improving gently.
Good luck with your app. Jane, it is worrying going to these things and not knowing what to expect.
My app. came yesterday, for next Saturday, a bit surprised! must be having weekend clinics to reduce list.
I'm walking a quite lot better now than when I was referred, how ever many mnths ago, with this new biologic. So I may be O.K. for a while longer yet.
Let us know how you get on.
I bought some of my favourite mulled wine yesterday from Lidles, rarely drink these days but just seemed to jump into my trolley couldn't resist. Might take a sip on Friday night!!
You must stress the upset tummy with your rheumy team, it is too much to put up with alongside everything else that is going on.
Best wishes Zena xx
